We use it to build a real travel story: a beautiful map, context about the places you visited, captions that remind you of the places you went. All you do is upload your favorite geotagged photos.

Your location data is yours. We never sell it.

I spent two years traveling the world with a camera. I came home with my my heart (and my hard drive) full of the best experiences of my life – and then real life started again.

Work, routine, chores. The albums I always meant to make kept getting pushed back. The photos just sit on the drive. All that love for those places, those sights, those memories… buried in a folder.

Then it struck me, um, I’m a photographer, a software engineer AND a traveler. Who better to build a solution for this?

I’d always wished for a site that could use the information stored in the photos to recreate the journey and never found it. So I built Sidecar Photo to bring those trips and experiences back to life in minutes.

And once I did, I couldn’t keep it to myself.
